Couples Therapy
A couple consists of two individuals joining their lives with hopes for the future. The quality and sustainability of any relationship is impacted by many challenges including differences in resolving conflict, family of origin issues, problems with intimacy, parenting, careers and dealing with home responsibilities and finances.
Exploring ways of handling these stresses and developing strategies for meeting the inevitable challenges of life is the focus of couples therapy. Couples are encouraged to develop their own unique "tool box" of skills such as communication, patience, curiousity, humor and the ability to "pause."

Couples therapy can be helpful at every stage of relationships including dating, pre-marital, marriage, raising children, empty nest and retirement. In addtion, discernment counseling can be crucial when circumstances require navigating difficult decisions around separation, divorce or giving an all out effort for repair.
